Free tools / Convert to MP4

Convert any video to MP4.

iPhone MOVs, screen-recorder WebMs, old AVIs — turn any of them into a clean MP4 that plays everywhere and uploads anywhere. Converted on your own device, never uploaded.

How it works.

  1. 1

Drop in the video that won't play or upload where you need it.

  2. 2

We re-encode it to a standard MP4 (H.264 + AAC) in your browser.

  3. 3

Download an MP4 that works on every phone, site, and editor.

Questions, answered.

Which formats can I convert?

Anything your browser's engine can read — MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, M4V, 3GP and more. If a file fails, it's usually an unusual codec; try a different source export.

Will I lose quality?

The video is re-encoded at a high-quality setting (the same one the Vairal editor exports with), so any difference is practically invisible.

Why MP4?

MP4 with H.264 video is the one format that plays literally everywhere — every phone, browser, social platform, and editing app. When in doubt, MP4 is the answer.

Is my video uploaded to your servers?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your file stays on your device from start to finish.
